    Description

    Up for sale is a Vintage AppleCD 300e CD-ROM drive. This drive is a double-speed (2x) drive, and is currently not working.
    Cosmetically, the drive is in good condition, but, upon testing it with both audio CDs and CD-ROMs, the drive fails to read beyond track 1 of the CD. You can hear the drive trying to seek other tracks when commanded, but it sounds like a mechanism may be stuck.
    If the mechanism can be freed, then the CD drive should work as expected, since track one reads and plays as expected across multiple CDs.
