Offered here is a:
AST ADVANTAGE PREMIUM IBM 16-bit VINTAGE P/N: 202106-001 Rev G w/ 1Mb Parity RAM
As you can see in the pictures:
All four columns of RAM are full with 256K x 1 chips
This was back when the parity bit was important,
so each column has nine chips it it.
This gives 1Mb of parity-enabled memory.
Sorry, I do not have the instruction manual.
I had a job a long time ago servicing all sorts of what is NOW vintage PC Equipment ;-)
When an upgrade was being done, or a machine was being scrapped,
I would pull out the known good adapter cards and SAVE them.
So ... this card worked fine when I put it in the anti-static bag.
Yes, I was a bit of a nut.
Fast-forward 30+ years and ... I still have a bunch of these cards.
I'm downsizing and they need to go ... I can't send them to the dumpster.
