Digital Dec VR201 Dec Rainbow etc., with video cable, working/repaired

Description

Vintage Digital Dec monitor with video cable, typically used with the Dec Rainbow 100 and other Dec computers from this time period.  Power is supplied through the included video cable.   It is in typical 40 year old condition with some scuffs and yellowing as shown.  However, this monitor had  screen rot which are little dots that appear in the glue that attaches the video CRT to the outside glass of the monitor case.  I removed the glue with fingernail polish remover so now the outside glass is no longer glued to the CRT but is held next to the CRT by the case.  It can be moved a little because there is no glue.  However, the screen is now clear and bright.  I don't know if the glue had some function other than being a glue.  It could be that the glue was intended as a safety measure in the event the CRT failed. please only bid if you are comfortable with the fact that the outside glass is not glued to the CRT screen.  The monitor cable is included for hooking up to the rainbow 100 and others.  It will be shipped in an oversize box with lots of packing.
