    Description

    F48: FreHD for 8in TRS-80s
It's a hard disk emulator using an SD card for storage.  One operating system per SD card: https://youtu.be/jqCWo_m1gvo
    This allows you to run TRSDOS-II 4.2.6, CP/M 2.2, and CP/M Plus on the 8in computers in Z80 mode: Model II, 12, 16, 16B, 6000
    NOTES:
You need to own a Type-II HDA (see 3rd picture), this controller normally connects to a TRS-80 Primary hard drive, which is what the F48 replaces.
F48 does not run Xenix.  It has the potential to run it but those who have tried find it fails at this point in time.  Don't buy this if you want to run Xenix... for that I recommend a DREM MFM HDD emulator, which has proven to work with Xenix.
Your Model II (or 16) needs to have a Rev D Z80 processor card (most do), if you have a Rev A, B or C then you need to modify it as outlined in Radio Shack Technical Bulletin TB II:26, a copy of which is included on the information CD.
Model 12 owners need to have a card cage (people do ask...) so that the Type-II HDA and KB/Video card can be installed at the same time.
When ordering let me know which image you want on the SD card, otherwise I'll just put TRSDOS-II 4.2.6  On the CDs are images for CP/M 2.2 and CP/M Plus, so it's easy to create your own alternative DOS SD cards.
