    black-color. Both color-types are made by Alps;
State your color-preference (same price either

These are used, but are confirmed with
an ohmmeter to be working. They were
    removed from vintage keyboards with
a "solder sucker" and copper desoldering
braid.  The switches have been lubricated
with MAX-PRO, a spray electronics lubricant
    that is specialized for switches.
    (Max-Pro
also works great for switches in cars!)
These two types of keyswitches: ALPS-Tall-
    Thin-Cream, and also the MITSUMI-White-
Stem, always use the same keycaps,
as is shown in this ad's photos.
    THESE KEYBOARDS USE THE "ALPS
    SKCC TALL-STEM" KEYSWITCHES
American Apple IIe keyboard # 820-0089
    658-0009    PC-A-P-86   1982
    French Apple IIe keyboard
Many Apple IIe early keyboards, 1982-84
    SOME OF THESE
    KEYBOARDS USE THE
    MITSUMI
    WHITE-STEM KEYSWITCHES:
    Three early Macintoshes:
Mac 128    Mac 512    Mac Plus
Both switch-types in this ad, the ALPS or MITSUMI, share the same
pattern of keyswitch characteristics as the classic "Green Alps" keyswitch:
CLICKINESS: LOW       TACTILITY: LOW       LINEARITY: HIGH
If your IIe keyboard uses the standard SMK
    "black-cross-
    stem"
    keyswitches, search for those
    in other ads.
    (lot-of-5: .50 + s/h)  The
    "black-cross-stem SMK" keyswitches and these
    "Alps-thin-cream-stem" keyswitches are NOT fully
INTERCHANGEABLE!  These two keyswitches in this ad,
the SKCC TALL ALPS and MITSUMI,
    have the same width and
height, so they will fit in keyswitch frames for either type.
The square mounting holes for the two types in this ad are
identical width, but they are slightly narrower than the
square holes for most SMK "black-cross-top" keyswitches.
The user could slightly widen the square hole with a flat
    mini-file.
Note too, that the two wire connection-terminals
    are spaced
slightly wider on the Mitsumi switches than
    on the ALPS switches.
When ordering, send me an Ebay message of how many switches
you want of the ALPS or MITSUMI brands. The total must
    be a multiple of five (e.g.,  5   10   15    20 ...), and
within the total, you can get all of either type or any
combination of the two types of switches.
    HIGHER COST FOR
    CAPS-LOCK KEYSWITCH
    The CAPS-LOCK keyswitch works
    differently:
    "PUSH-ON PUSH-OFF."
Its price is .40 instead of $-.--
The CAPS-LOCK keycap is also .40
each, because it is a "high-demand"
keycap. Other keycaps (SMT) are shown
    in two separate keycap ads
    .
