    Description

    For sale are new made GW-1687-5 modules. These modules are 100% compatible with Dallas DS1687-5 modules -- they're made with a new Dallas DS1685-5. Unlike a DS1687-1, this module features a replaceable coin cell in a holder. When the battery dies, simply remove it and insert another CR1225 coin cell!
    These modules replace the NVRAM/clock module often found in vintage SGI workstations such as the SGI O2 and Octane/Octane2, and are used in some industrial PC applications as well.
    This item uses a lithium cell and will be marked as such for mailing. This may increase delivery times in some cases, especially overseas.
