SO I SOURCED THE PARTS AND MADE THIS KIT WHICH I THINK IS BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL REGARDING SOUND
.
12 Volt Horn Mounted to the Bracket. Bracket has been "Tapped" to Receive 6/32 Flathead Mounting Screw. (4 parts of 9). This Horn has a Green Ground Wire which you can use to make sure you HAVE Ground OR you can cut it Off or Coil it up behind the Horn.
6/32 Flathead Mounting Screw and Nut (1) Each for (2) total Pieces.
9 Volt Battery Contact with Black and Red Wire Leads (2). Note: I have "Soldered the (2) Battery Contacts in SERIES and Used Heat Shrink Tubing to cover the Solder Joint. You will receive UNSOLDERED Battery Contacts in Case you want to shorten them.
4 Inch Piece of Heat Shrink Tubing (1)
I am available to walk you through the Installation. It is VERY Easy!
This Kit allows you to wire the horn just like the Original Postwar Horn only using TWO 9 Volt Batteries. LESS LIKELY to cause BATTERY DAMAGE. Installation does not interfere with Original Design. Provides a "Louder" Horn Sound. To create a different pitch you can turn the Black Allen Head Screw with a pair of Needlenose Pliers to adjust the "Pitch".. Using the TWO 9 Volt Batteries will be convenient to change as they will easily fit in the "D Cell" Compartment.
