ULTRA Rare Commodore 8280 8" Floppy Drive - L@@K!

Offered here is an ULTRA RARE vintage a vintage Commodore 8" 8280 Dual Floppy Drive. Although made in the USA, I do not believe it was ever sold in North American.  In fact I have only seen 5 or 6 offered in my 35 years of collecting and they all came from Europe.   This one is in excellent physical shape other than scratches pictured on the top rear left.   I powered this on and if it operates like  other Commodore IEEE drives, it seems to pass the power on test.  When powered on, both drives blink red twice and then the green "ready" light comes on.  You can also here the drives spin up to speed ( or perhaps it is the built in fan-unsure).  I can find no manual to describe the commands needed to operate this drive so no further testing has been done.  It
may need cleaning/ repair and/or adjustment to operate at optimum efficiency - unsure.  Few collections include this drive and it will be the envy of others.  Truly a rare a beautiful piece of history from Commodore!  This is a 220v drive.  Please check out my other listings.  Buyer pays shipping.  Shipping is estimated.  Good Luck Bidding!
