    Description

    Universal Adapter PS/2-to-AT-XT for Keyboard and PS/2-to-COM for Mouse

    This adapter allow you to connect a modern PS/2 keyboard to a retro PC with a 5DIN AT or XT interface.
    The adapter has a built-in converter of protocol AT to XT, which can be switched AT-AT or AT-XT.
    And also, this adapter allows you to connect a modern computer mouse with a PS/2 port to a retro PC that have a COM port (serial port).
    Important notes:
    - It is possible to connect only one keyboard and one mouse to the adapter at the same time.
    - The adapter needs power to work, which it takes from the 5DIN connector. The mouse adapter will not work without a 5DIN connection.
    - The PC/AT to PC/XT keyboard interface converter built into the adapter does not support soft reset (pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL, as well as pressing the reset button on the system unit). Incorrect operation is possible after a soft reset, and therefore it is recommended to turn off the computer completely to reset the computer.
    - The USB connectors on the adapter do not support HID USB devices and allow you to connect only keyboards and mice with PS/2 compatibility mode. Some devices (keyboards and mice) support PS/2 compatibility mode, but not all. You should first check with the manufacturer of your device whether the PS/2 compatibility mode is supported before connecting to the adapter.
