A 32 x 32 core memory plate stores 1024 bit (128 byte) of data
Outer core diameter: 1.4 mm
The plate is one of 20 plates forming a ferrite core memory block. The
capacity of the whole block is 2560 byte (2 Kb).

Up to the beginning of 1970th in the USSR ferrite core memory plates have
been woven manually. That painstaking work requiring much rapt attention
and perseverance was entrusted to young women with sharp eyesight.
